Plan With Me Sunday šŸ¤

Home safe, hearts full.

We’re back from Detroit after a weekend spent with some of our favourite people — our away-from-home hockey family. Weekends like this fill my cup… the memories made, the laughs shared, new gained friendships, and the reminder of how grateful I am for this season of life.

I’m feeling so excited for what’s ahead, thankful for everything we have right now, and always humbled every time we make it home safe and sound.

Today in my planner, I’m doing a little look back + look forward.

✨ Reflect on the moments that mattered this weekend
✨ Brain dump everything coming up this week
✨ Choose 3 priorities that move life forward
✨ Schedule one thing that supports the future we’re building

Planning isn’t just about organizing your week — it’s about creating intention for the life you’re building.

What’s one thing you’re grateful for from this past week as you plan for the next? āœļøšŸ¤

Summer is almost here ā˜€ļø

The camping trips.
The fishing days.
School being out.
Warm weather.
Cold drinks.
Slower evenings.

It all sounds amazing… but if we’re not intentional, summer can fill up fast.

I’m notorious for double-booking weekends, overcommitting, and realizing too late that the ā€œfun seasonā€ somehow became just another packed schedule.

So this year, I’m doing something different.

I didn’t sign my kids up for anything.

No packed calendar. No rushing from one thing to the next.

Why?
Because I want to leave space for the unplanned.

The spontaneous beach day.
The random ice cream run.
The lazy mornings.
The memories that happen when there’s room for them.

Sometimes planning isn’t about filling every box.
Sometimes it’s about protecting the empty ones.

What are you making space for this summer? ā˜€ļøāœØ

Some weeks feel like survival mode, but when you finally stop for a second and look back… you realize you actually lived a lot of life in those few days šŸ¤

This week brought big decisions, hockey tournaments, road trips, loud laughs with friends, schedule juggling, rainstorms, and moments where I had to really ask myself what matters most right now.

One thing I kept coming back to was simplifying.

Not because I’m giving up, but because sometimes focusing on one thing and doing it well is more powerful than trying to do everything at once.

So this week in my planner:
✨ brain dump everything
✨ write in the practices, appointments & travel first
✨ choose your top 3 priorities
✨ leave room for rest too

Currently white-knuckling it down the 75 in a rainstorm heading to hockey practice, so if nothing else… we’re all just doing our best šŸ˜‚

Hope you have the smoothest week ahead šŸ¤

Also, it was Tulip Festival in Ottawa which was beautiful.

Plan With Me Sunday ✨

Today in my planner, I’m focusing on one simple thing to prepare for the week ahead: creating a priority list for what truly matters most. Not trying to do everything — just focusing on what deserves my energy this week. šŸ¤

There’s something really powerful about coming to a decision that finally feels right. That feeling of excitement, peace, and possibility all at once. Sometimes when one door closes, another opens in ways we never expected — and even if it feels uncertain at first, it can lead us exactly where we’re meant to be.

As a mom, so many of the decisions I make are rooted in love for my family and the future I want to create for them. Planning gives me space to slow down, reflect, and move into a new week with intention instead of overwhelm.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms, caregivers, and women who do so much for the people they love. šŸ’

Here’s to fresh starts, intentional weeks, and making room for the things that matter most. ✨

Do you track your budget every month? šŸ¤

My poll earlier today told me everything:
Most of us try… and that matters.
The world is expensive. Motherhood is expensive. Life is expensive.
Budgeting right now isn’t about perfection—it’s about awareness and making it to the next paycheck. Thats me anyway, and I know I’m not alone.
This planner doesn’t ask you to cut joy or live small.

It helps you:
✨ see where your money is going
✨ plan with intention
✨ reflect without guilt

Plan with me today. Reflect with me tonight. And remind yourself—you’re not failing. You’re learning.
We’re all in this together šŸ¤

🌿 Plan With Me Sunday

This weekend felt full in every sense of the word.

There were new connections made, proud kid moments, and no championships on paper—but so much growth, grit, and heart.

At home, we did a full reset. Cleaning, organizing, and creating a little breathing room. Grounding work, even when it’s tiring.

There were heavier moments too—quiet goodbyes, holding space for loved ones, and choosing hope as health slowly improves.

Tonight, I’m having a beer and letting myself pause.

April is ending.
May is beginning.

This week I’ll reflect, re-adjust, and set a few gentle goals—not because life feels settled, but because it doesn’t. Planning is how I stay grounded when everything feels like a lot.

And a gentle reminder 🌸
It’s not too late to gift yourself—or a mom you love—a little more calm and clarity. A few planners are still available for Mother’s Day!

Let’s plan gently.
Let’s begin again.

This week started a little differently šŸ¤

After a full weekend of travel, tryouts, and so much driving—we’re all feeling a bit worn down. So today, I’m slowing things down with a coffee in hand ā˜•ļø and a simple plan.

Lately, I’ve been focusing on the small things—
making it home safely,
watching my kids chase what they love,
and being grateful I get to support them.

It really shifts how the week feels.

If you’re planning today, keep it simple:
pick one habit. Just one. Start there šŸ¤

Also—I’ve been creating behind the scenes while waiting on new samples ✨
A few new handmade pieces are now available (each one a little perfectly imperfect), and crafted by yours truly šŸ˜‰

Thank you for being here always 🌿
