We will be there Wednesday as well, but doing the last of the packing up that day, unless Kelly decides to pack Thursday. Friday we move everything out and will be gone.

About 3 more weeks everyone. We will be packing up and closing down the last week of March. Last chance to come into the store.

We will be gradually packing up non stock items between now and the 23rd, and then that final week the stock will be packed up. Not sure the exact date yet as it will depend on when I can get the moving company in but I am aiming to be completely closed by the 26th.

The website and domain will be shut down at the end of the month. This Facebook group will remain as I will be restructuring with a new name and focus soon after. As well a new website and domain will be created. I am strongly leaning towards Earth Angel Creations for the new name, and will then be making my product from home and changing to an online prescence only.

When I first opened 13 years ago, online wasn’t what it is now. Brick and mortar was the way to go back then, but 13 years is a long time and we and the retail sector have all changed a lot. I will be shifting from witchy to more spiritual. No longer bound by 1 genre of product. I will be able to let my creativity flow and offer different things that would not have sold to the limited audience in my store only. I have already done some scented candle commisions, and am excited to expand my candle line-up, and my resin statuary, I will still have bracelets available, incenses, smudge and room sprays, and my pendulums.

I will miss the hotel. I have been in there for 19 years. That’s a long time, it’s been my second home since before I moved to Sherwood Park. This is a big closure of my life, but we are in the time of endings and grand new beginnings and you can’t move forward as long as you are tied to the past.
I will miss all my in-store customers, it’s been amazing all these years, I’ve met amazing people and made many friends so I hope you will all stay and watch the next story unfold.

New beginnings! Starting the year of the fire horse with a solar eclipse tomorrow. I’m excited actually. My Chinese zodiac is the metal Boar and let me tell you, the last number of years have not been kind to poor little piggy. Finally a year that gets along with the Boar. This is my year!! I’m also a Cancer with four placements of Sagittarius, my moon, my rising, and a couple of other places, and both are supposed to have a great year ahead. Perfect time for changing up the store to being home based.
Even my other job is moving this week, so even there we are starting off with a new location. That’s right, I am moving 1 store in the mall this week and next, then going straight from there to pack and close my own store in March. Insanity!

We are open today, so pop in and grab some great valentines gifts. We have some terrific statuary, ghost hugs, crystals, incense, and candles. Open 12-6.

So, our store will be closing sometime before March 31st. The business will continue in a new online form with a shiny new rebrand.

Unfortunately the retail world has changed. People no longer want to go to actual stores anymore, online is king now. Rents have gotten insanely high along with other overheads for businesses and us small guys just cannot compete anymore.
So you still have a month to visit us one last time. Some items will be marked down. Some will be coming home with me and transitioning to online.
I am keeping the page and my website, and the debit machine merchant contract, but the name will be changing. To what, I’m still deciding. So everyone here who follows me will be kept in the loop but will see things gradually change. I’m leaning towards phoenix Inspirations, or something with 888 in it. I love my angel numbers.

I will be expanding my candle lines to include scented candles, including custom candles available through special order, I’ll be creating resin statuary, stone bracelets, incense will still be sold (I love my incense), smudge sprays, perfumes, bath bombs and salts and whatever else I decide to create. There will be handcrafted items from friends available as well, so hedgewitch items will still be available as well.
I am shifting from largely witchy to mostly spiritual as the demographic has changed. People no longer need as much empowering, but desperately need more calm and zen.

I opened my store in 2013. It’s been an amazing 13 years, and it served its purpose during that time when people needed the advice and empowerment but we now have so many online sites that fills that niche, the store and in person counseling is just no longer necessary. I met amazing people, had a great time, and will miss it, but it is now time for a new path.
Those into Chinese astrology know it’s the ending of a snake year, and beginning of the fire horse. Even astrologically this year is all about endings and new beginnings, so I feel this is a destined change and I’m quite excited about this new path.

We will be shutting the store down by the end of March. Our lease is up March 31st, so I will be shutting down the brick and mortar business.
If you have been meaning to get in now is the time.
After closure there will be a hiatus while I shift the business focus to more handmade items and selling as a home based business from now on. I will be keeping the page and website but it will all be rebranded. New name, new focus.

It’s been a great 13 years but unfortunately sales have slumped too much to remain open any longer.

Online ordering on the webpage has been temporarily disabled. unfortunately my internet has died and had to be cancelled due to infrastructure failure, and some payment options are linked to that email that was lost on deactivation. I felt it prudent to disable things for a while until I can get a new email set up. For some reason I am running into glitches updating a different email with PayPal, and clover. I don’t want payments being lost in the void. Please bear with me. Technology does not like me this week.
