Before and After. One of this week’s projects wrapped up. Still some wires to replace due to corrosion but everything is back up and running for the long weekend and a lot cleaner!

What do you think of the charger mounting spot? When the front wall is too thin and the other side is a livewell… you look up.

Well that was not 30 or even 45 seconds hahaha.

Thank you everyone for the support so far!These first three months have felt way longer but have been great and filled with new opportunities, memories and people.

A lot of support and feedback from so many people that have helped this become a reality. More progress is coming and most of it I didn’t think was possible this early on. The business has a lot of growing to do but has had a solid start thanks to you guys!

I am hearing some rumours of a possible bad storm the afternoon/evening with lots of rain in our area. Putting this out there to hopefully help someone with their sump in case power goes out.

I currently have this Bluetti premium 100v2 which is more than enough to standard sump pumps. Expect 5+hours with a 1/3hp pump cycling 15 minutes per hour. This unit is $819 +taxes. I have a few other smaller units available as well great for internet backup or other electronics.

Check out this very budget friendly battery’s moldy and corroded demise.

These also seem to be pouch cells held in place with spray foam. They may be lithium ion even though it is sold as lithium iron phosphate. Wouldn’t be the only case of this happening with the ultra cheap batteries. Be careful out there!

Exciting news for Rideau Power Co.!

I’m excited to share that a selection of LiTime batteries and chargers from Rideau Power Co. are now available at Carleton Place Marine.

This is a small first step, but it’s one I’m proud of. Seeing Rideau Power Co. products on the shelf of a dealership that has been serving the community for decades is a pretty exciting milestone.

I’d like to thank the team at Carleton Place Marine for giving this a try. Hopefully this is the beginning of something that benefits both businesses while making quality lithium batteries easier for local boaters to find.

I’d also like to thank everyone who has supported Rideau Power Co. over the past few months. Every purchase, recommendation, and share has helped get the business to this point.
