Fibromyalgia is more than just “tiredness” or “aching.” It is a complex, often invisible, chronic condition characterized by widespread pain, debilitating fatigue, sleep disturbances, and cognitive difficulties (known as ‘fibro fog’). 
Because its symptoms are not always visible, many ‘Fibro Warriors’ face a long road to diagnosis and, too often, misunderstanding from others. Today is about changing that. 
We celebrate your resilience, your courage, and your unwavering strength. You are not alone. 💜

Today, May 5, we observe Red Dress Day, the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S).
The empty red dresses hanging in the trees, inspired by Métis artist Jaime Black’s REDress Project, serve as a stark visual reminder of the staggering loss experienced by Indigenous communities. Each dress represents a mother, daughter, sister, auntie, or friend who should still be with us today.
The color red has deep significance, chosen because it is believed in some Indigenous cultures that spirits can see this color, guiding them home to their loved ones.
Today, and every day, we must honor those who are missing, support their families, and work together to address the systemic causes of violence that disproportionately affect Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals.♥️ ❤️
