Hello Garlic Followers - Update on the garlic! I am happy to report that we are able to keep the garlic in the ground a bit longer, which is super as the garlic will be a higher quality. The recent and ongoing moisture issues have caused some worries, however, we are at 2 leaves dying off. We need to get to 4 before we pull and cure it. Bear Tree Gardens is still selling trees. We had a bit of a late start this year due to unavoidable circumstances. We apologize for any confusion. All our trees and shrubs are in pots. This makes transportation and planting much more accessible and less costly. Our current sale inventory includes TREES: White Spruce ( 3’-5’), Siberian Elm (large), Larch (5’ to very tall), Columnar Aspens (3’ to very tall), Swedish Poplar (4’ to very tall), Sundance Poplar (4’-6’), Prairie Sensation Apples (3’ to 5’), Amur Maple (3.5’), Blue Spruce (3’), Alberta Dwarf Spruce (1.5’), Eastern Cedar (6”), Manitoba Maple (5’-7’), American Elm (6’ to very tall), Lodgepole Pine (3’-4’), River Birch (6’ to very tall) and much more. We also have some SHRUBS: Raspberries, Saskatoons, Lilacs, Ninebark, Hedge Cotoneaster, Dwarf Purple Willow, Sand-cherries and more.

Hi wonderful garlic community. The Russian Red is doing really well despite the crazy amount of moisture. Stay tuned. But our Scapes have been picked. Scapes are $5 per pound for one pound and $4 for every other pound purchased. We have about 2000 plants. We only have about 22 pounds left. Wow scapes move fast! DM me if you want some before we run out. Our Russian Red is a favourite. Every year we sell out.
