We had to close both greenhouses today. Temperatures are amplified in a greenhouse and for the safety of staff and customers sometimes it is necessary to close for the day. If you are going to shop tomorrow come early we will have the doors open at 8:30 there is a good chance we will have to close at 2:00.

Someone just asked about our hours. At the lumsden location the hours are Mon.- Friday 9:30-5:00. Sat and Sunday 9:30-4:30

Strasbourg location Closed Always On Mondays…
Tuesday-Sat 10-5:00 Sunday 10-4
Over the next few days I suggest if you shop any greenhouse do it early. Temperatures in a greenhouse are magnified. If it get to hot we have to shut it down.

Hello gardeners, it finally feels like spring might be here. I have a minute and wanted to jump on here to remind you, as we finally head into the season. We are open from 10-5 Tuesday through Friday and 10-4 Saturday and Sunday. We are closed in Strasbourg on Mondays. On Monday while I was working on a couple of real estate listings and our books, I had four people knock on the door to see if we were open. I am sorry I could not help you. Mondays when we are closed; there is no till or handheld in the greenhouse, and even if I am here…, I guarantee you I am working on something. So I will try to remind you as we move through the season. Looks like the cold nights are almost behind us so HapPy Planting everyone.

Kozy Coats….
Have you ever used a Kozy Coat for your tomatoes. They are very effective adding warmth and protection for your tomatoes this time of year. Fill with water and create a greenhouse effect which promotes growth and added protection around your tomatoes.

The greenhouse in Strasbourg will be closed to the public tomorrow. We will be busy organizing for the product pick up that happens on the 13th 4-6 for the Strasbourg sports Park fundraiser.
We will return to normal hours of operation on Wednesday. Hopefully the sun joins us and spring returns. Thank you in advance for your understanding. Please share so we can let as many people know as possible. Lumsden location will not be affected and will be open.
