NOW HIRING – Retired Handyman Wanted (Part‑Time)
JT Powersports – New Lowell, ON
Are you a retired handyman looking to stay busy a couple days a week?
We’re looking for someone reliable who enjoys working with their hands and doesn’t mind a mix of outdoor and indoor tasks.
Position: Yard & Maintenance Assistant
Perfect for someone who likes staying active, enjoys fixing things, and wants flexible work.
What You’ll Be Doing
Handling scrap metal loads (sorting, organizing, preparing for drop‑off)
General property and building maintenance
Cutting grass and w**ds as needed, keeping salvage yard tidy, painting, and container organization.
Repairs around the shop and yard
Seasonal jobs, tightening roof screws, and maintenance on outdoor wood burning furnace/boiler system.
Servicing air compressor, trailers, lawnmower, w**d whacker, chainsaw and snowblowers.
Pickups and deliveries as needed
What We’re Looking For
Retired or semi‑retired individual preferred
Handy and basic repair skills
Physically able to lift and move items, and climb a ladder
Valid driver’s licence
Reliable, trustworthy, and easygoing
Schedule
2 days per week
Flexible days
Great for someone wanting steady but not full‑time work

Great news about the Ride!! OFSC has approved a 1 day special event pass for $45 so you can take your vintage sled down the trail on our ride. We will have a laptop on site to help do registration
