There is something to be said about painting onto terracotta pots. It’s not just about creating or the finished piece. It is also about the feel of the material… how smooth and cold it is to touch and watching the paint and material connect. Or how sometimes it doesn’t go as planned and you go a different avenue. I haven’t gone bonkers I swear! 😂😂 just bloody love doing what I do and the amount of therapy I get from it. Make time for you today even just for 5 mins. That’s my plan anyway

So this week has been a tough one mentally. Surround yourself with love, be real, TALK and break through fear. I gave myself space and even though I didn’t think I’d get through it. I’m doing it. Have a great weekend ❤️

So true, if only I could remember this everyday.
The suns out and I’m creating. Feel lucky to have this space yet I’m worrying. Worrying about the future, work and projects and not wasting this space to get my pots going. So much energy wasted yet it’s a vicious circle. How to be free from this…

It’s so easy to get trapped inside your head. Allowing thoughts to trickle in like poison. Talking is key
and the biggest hurdle when you feel like you are alone in your thoughts and your inner child is covering your mouth so you can’t speak.
Once you brake free and speak ‘I’m not great today’ or whatever you feeling, you have broken free and you change the cycle.

It’s mental health week... let’s brake free together. It’s ok to talk, it’s ok to find it hard, it’s ok to not be ok.
