During WW2 there was a famous General called Rommel β€œThe Desert Fox”, and this sauce is all about his revenge Old Chap! Turns out that Rommel wasn’t a N**i but a bloody good General and would have likely been friends with Monty, Churchill and you and me!

Friday evening, we dug in to the middle of a pine forest in the south of England cutting our way deep in to camp with bro in law Will and mate Aaron.

We reach the destination, set up our Hennesey Hammocks and tarps under the pine canopy.

We kept the fire low as to remain cautious after this year's extreme weather but the evenings are now cool so we enjoyed its glow and warmth.

For dinner, pulled pork sliders, a side of butter corn and mushrooms and the stunning shoulder of pork from Clive , surrey.

We seasoned the pork shoulder with The Steak Detective Juno Beach seasoning and glazed with Jump to Victory Cherry Smoke Sweet and sour bbq sauce. Oven for 5 hours on 140c and then blasted to 210c finished the cracking to a crunch.

It's great to get out behind enemy lines!
