RECYCLE// this week I’m focusing on recycling. Reworking pieces that haven’t sold, that I never really connected with. This started as a pendant with a great piece of raw aquamarine. But- I really never thought it worked. Didn’t put it out much at markets. But this week- had one of my lovely vendors say - “so what about some bracelets?” And you know- what about it? Suddenly this forlorn bit has found a new life in this dramatic bracelet. And frankly, I love it.

I’ve got a few more things that I’m reworking too- so stayed tuned.

And remember- you don’t have to stay status quo- you can always reimagine yourself too- 💕

MORE// or less. I haven’t addressed the whole crazy price of silver issue that us silversmiths are having to deal with right now. So…1: pieces made last year at lower prices will hold that price. Duplications of those pieces, if requested, will see a price increase.
2: my main focus for current work is “do more with less.” That means smaller works- so less material costs - but imbued with as much detail as possible to keep the pieces in line with the slate jewelry aesthetic that you know.

I hope that this balance will keep my pricing in line with what you’ve come to expect, and that these new designs still speak to you. I’m happy with what I’ve been making, and look forward to your feedback when market season rolls around.

PEEK// sneak peek at a new selection of pearl-loving pieces heading to a wonderful new stockist. Details to follow. For me- these pieces are so happy & pretty. They lift me out of the gloom in the world. There still can be brighter days ahead. I’ll let you know where you can find them soon.

OMEGA// beautiful smokey quartz crowns a twisty setting of sterling and 14k gold fill. Size is between an 8-9 - it’s not perfectly round so the size is an estimate. Cannot be resized. $325.

I’m only making 1 piece of each so any extras are made to order so that my supplies are used for what is needed in light of the increasing silver costs.
