🐓 Finally… I made something!! 🌊

For the longest time people have asked me, “What do you make?” when they visit the shop.

And my answer has always been, “Nothing!” 😂

Well, I can finally say I made something for the shop! ❤️

This little “Farm Fresh Eggs” piece was created using some of the beach glass, pebbles and porcelain pieces I’ve collected over the years while combing our local beaches (very therapeutic). Each little piece has its own story, and I’ve been collecting these treasures for years, just waiting for the right inspiration.

And, apparently chickens were the answer! 🐔 🥚

It feels nice to finally have a little piece of my own handmade work at Just Around the Corner, Earltown, NS.

One-of-a-kind, locally collected and made with love. 💕 I may just have to make another…

Further inspiration appreciated…. Anything you would like to see me create for the shop out of treasures collected from the beach, feel free to leave a comment (can even include pictures of inspirations). I also collect shells, both clam and oyster.

Took a little visit to my friend Kim’s shop Orange Cat Crafts to get restocked!

From her lovely decoupaged earrings to cozy crocheted chickens, adorable little baskets and handmade pumpkins, there are many unique pieces that seem to find homes quickly, so come see what we have in stock soon.
