Hi Everyone! As promised, here are a few photos from my "UBC Run for Rural Medicine" for Hope Air!

I have brought in 65% of my goal. Thank you to all who supported my run, and got in on my fundraising jewelry auction. You helped to support much needed medical travel for those living in rural locations.

My run is a "virtual" one, so I can do it from anywhere. I chose to do it in Kleanza Creek Provincial Park ❤️

Thank you so much to those who participated in my Charity auction for my "UBC Run for Rural Medicine for Hope Air"! Our auction brought in $60 for Hope Air. I add $40 to that, to make a total donation of $100.

All of the proceeds go to Hope Air, to help Canadians like me, who live in rural areas, far from medical support, to get to the medical appointments and treatments they need. ❤️

Less than 4 days left in our fundraising auction for Hope Air! It is a good way to get a great price on an item! I don't normally sell my Peridot (it usually only for special gifts or fundraisers), so this is one of the few times it will be available! Bidding closes at noon March 29th

I have some stones that are difficult to polish, and I have been trying to figure out the best way to protect them and make them shine, without taking away from their natural beauty. I think I've got it! I tried a UV gel coating on this raw yooperlite and it worked perfectly! A nice hard, non tacky, glossy protective coating. I hope to also recoat my Ammolite stones as well. The Ammolite I buy, has a resin coating, but I find it gets tacky and dull easily. This should help to better protect them, and give a lasting shine as well ❤️

As promised... Photos from the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics BC - Terrace! It was a success, raising a combined total of over $5000 for our athletes! Great job to all the hardworking athletes, coaches, and coordinators, who help make Special Olympics possible here in Terrace!

It was a balmy 1°C out there today (felt much colder with the crazy wind!!). That lake was cold! My legs were numb before I even "plunged" haha! 🥶🤣

** For context.... I am dressed like a chicken because another hobby of mine is raising rare breed poultry... I also may have been led to believe there would be more people plunging in costumes haha... Nope! Just me haha 🤣 😅 No regrets! This crazy chicken lady had fun! 🤪
