A GenX story ✍🏼 My parents ran a couple of Beckers stores in the small town of St Thomas, and from the age of 14, I worked there and got paid .25 cents every shelf I cleaned.
I worked with my mother mostly during the day and did all the things. Until I turned 16 and I turned into the spawn of Satan.

We fought all day in between serving customers, with me screaming about escaping my life working as a slave and one day becoming a big time actress in NYC!

She would yell back, “I hope you have a child just like YOU!”

In my twenties I heard, “Don’t give me a grandchild”

Now, at 50, I hear, “Baby clothes will fit your cat nicely”

Mom and I are besties now and quite happy I never procreated. 🎈🎈🎈
I woulda had one just like me and trust- I woulda left mine in a park somewhere.
To all the Mom’s out there who don’t, you are truly doing the Lords work 🙏🏾

🫵🏻 Because honestly, I can’t believe what I’m seeing - how could you lot let this happen? Your MAGA family, friends, spouse don’t need prayers. They need to be held accountable for their vote. For their complacency.
