I built Milana to be different, and that includes how I do a sale. Every year, someone is trying to sell me a course on how to win the holiday season, and honestly, I am tired of it. This year, I am not doing that playbook.

As a shopper, I strongly dislike sales where one item is discounted one weekend, another the next, and then a surprise extra code shows up after I had already bought.

So this is it. One sale. 20%-30% off Milana, clearance excluded, until December 31. No FOMO marketing, no countdown timers, no surprise codes, no new deal next weekend.

I built Milana around fewer, better pieces, not consume, toss, consume, toss. That is not good for the planet, or for people. Buy when you are ready, and buy something that earns a place.

Behind the Label. I lost my mom this year, went to therapy, and was diagnosed with auDHD. It explained a lot, especially how I shop and how I design. If a piece is not right, I cannot wear it. So I make core styles that earn a place.

Supplier negotiations at 1 am, 14 hour work days, paying yourself last, and all the rest in between.

The work is hard, but I will gladly keep doing it.

“Organic” on its own can mean a lot of things.

GOTS is the Global Organic Textile Standard, and it covers more than the cotton. The fibre is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides or GMOs. Every step of processing and manufacturing is covered, with environmental and social criteria across the chain, checked by independent third parties on site.

Our footies are 95% organic cotton, made in a GOTS certified facility from fabric to finished product, and enzyme-washed with biodegradable enzymes instead of bleach or synthetic softeners.
