昨日大多倫多空氣質素一度全球最差🌫️ 卑詩山火煙霧籠罩全城，勞醫生琴日接受星島加拿大訪問，分享咗幾個應對煙霧不適嘅小貼士。

勞醫生提醒：

🔹 如果覺得鼻塞、呼吸唔暢順，可以用手指喺鼻樑兩側輕輕按壓，有助紓緩、令呼吸暢順啲

🔹 如果開始覺得喉嚨唔舒服，可以煲啲潤肺湯水——雪耳、百合，加魚腥草煲最少一兩個鐘

Toronto‘s air quality hit the worst in the world yesterday, as smoke from wildfires out west blanketed the city

🌫️ Dr. Lo spoke to Sing Tao Canada and shared a couple of simple tips for smoke-related discomfort.His advice:

🔹 If your nose feels blocked or breathing feels harder, try gently pressing along the sides of your nose — it can help ease breathing

🔹 If your throat is already feeling irritated, try a soothing soup of snow fungus and lily bulb, or simmer houttuynia (fish mint) for at least a couple of hours

Happy Father’s Day! My family took me to Auric King at Markville Mall for an early celebration — roast suckling pig, roast duck, steamed whole fish, and vegetables with mushroom.

We even had a coupon for two free roast squabs saved for tonight’s real dinner. Cantonese roast never disappoints. Grateful for family, good food, and a table full of dishes I love.

父親節快樂！幾天前家人帶我去 Auric King（萬錦廣場 Markville Mall）提前慶祝，點了燒乳豬、燒鴨、清蒸魚、雜菇炒菜心，還用優惠券換了兩隻免費燒乳鴿——留到今晚正日再吃！🍽️

廣東燒臘就是這個味道，皮脆肉嫩，清蒸魚鮮甜入味，家人圍桌而坐，這就是最好的節日。

My daughter surprised me with this for Father’s Day — a beautifully printed copy of Chronicles of a Travelling Physician《布醫萍蹤錄》, my collection of weekly TCM columns spanning years of clinical reflection and travel. Seeing it bound and in hand made it feel real. We are working on the final edited version for print, and I look forward to sharing it with all of you soon.
