Spooky season looks better with cookies.

Join us at The Cookiery this October for our Halloween cookie decorating classes! Come decorate, get a little messy, learn some new tricks, shop in-store with our student class discount and leave with a box of spooky treats. 🕷️✨ Register for Marya’s Spellbound Skulls class on October 31st at 12 noon (before all the trick or treating begins!) or Nicole’s beginner/kid friendly adorable too-cute-to-spook class on October 25th (limited seats left). There is also one seat left for Nicole’s royal icing workshop this Sunday, October 11th.

No experience needed — just come ready to have fun. All tools & cookies will be provided for you!

Over the summer, we threw Alexine & Pat Inkpot | cherished keepsakes + personalized pieces a surprise baby shower at the shop to welcome their future baby girl! Of course that meant custom cookies!! Not only is Alexine a huge farmer’s market fan, I also thought these cute little “little sprout” veggies would be perfect year round even for the fall harvest. Cutters available on the shop now (the asparagus was our fave!) Also I may have gone overboard in doing the designs, which is very typical of Marya and I honestly 😂 All cookie samples by Sugar Cookies by Marya who had to decorate on the sly so that the surprise wasn’t ruined! STL files also coming to the digital studio today 🥬🥗🥦🫛🫑🥒🍅

With the amount of prep, planning, and love we poured into CookieFest Canada this year, it’s crazy to think it’s all over in the blink of an eye!

I’m so incredibly grateful to every single one of you who spent the weekend with us. Seeing everyone together, learning, laughing, shopping, creating and just enjoying CookieFest made every extra-long work day this past summer completely worth it.

And what an absolute joy it is to get to do this alongside some of the best women in the industry. Corianne Froese Sugar Cookies by Marya Kate Stamp (Formally Hey There Sugar) Susanna Piatkowski Qi He (Lisa) - Cookie Decorator, Content Creator Jessica | Custom Cookies, Cakes, Classes, and More! and the rest of this incredible team — I love you all!! I’m so proud of what we created together. ❤️

To all of our amazing teachers and vendors, thank you for saying yes to CookieFest and for bringing so much talent, creativity and energy to the weekend. You are such a huge part of what makes this event so special for our attendees.

To our sponsors, thank you for continuing to believe in and support CookieFest, and for your incredibly generous contributions. We truly couldn’t do what we do without you.

To our incredible volunteers, thank you for all your help in keeping things running as smoothly as possible all weekend! A special shoutout to Susi honeybeecookiestudio Katey Katey Watson and Amanda Amanda King for helping us dismantle our booth so quickly on Sunday!

Just a quick reminder that The Cookiery will be CLOSED Thursday, September 17 through Saturday, September 19 while our team will be at 100 Kellogg for CookieFest Canada. We will not be shipping during this period as well.

We’ll be back to our regular business hours on Monday, September 21st. Shipping will also resume on Monday.

If you need to find us over the weekend, you are welcome to come visit our booth along with all the other wonderful vendors we have.

With CookieFest Canada just a few days away, we’re finally slowing things down some at the shop from the break-neck speed we’ve been running the last few months trying to get all the things done. I’m so grateful to have my Cookiery fam Marya Sugar Cookies by Marya and Arun helping me with everything, but also equally thankful to have the support of the CookieFest planning team this past year! It’s really only hitting me now just how much bigger this event is from last year’s and that’s because of all of you who are choosing to spend next weekend with us 🫶 We can’t wait to see you all there! When you take a bag of skittles, mix it with some cute & goofy monsters and add a dash of Halloween to the mix you get these colourful babies! I reaaaally leaned in to the big googley eyes for our Halloween cookie cutter designs this year but zero regrets! Love how these monsters turned out (honestly probably would’ve done a few dozen more designs if we had more time but alas CookieFest duties overtook our shop 😆) These were so fun to decorateI made sure to offer them in the mini size too! Today is also the last day to grab them & the rest of our Fall/Halloween cutters at 20% off with the SEPTSALE20 coupon code for labour day!

Added these new mini monsters to the website today along with some chunky Halloween cuties, and all the colourful monsters from our August surprise box! I had so much fun decorating these wide-eyed monsters!

My youngest nephew turned 2 yesterday and celebrated with the cutest theme! 😍 Airplanes & banner & blimp cutters will be listed this week!

The number 2 cutter here is inspired by a cookie I saw on pinterest awhile back, please tag if you know the original artist or shop ✈️🚁 the Austin cutter was made with commercially licensed font.
