This skater came in and built up a fresh custom complete, then took it one step further with a killer custom grip job. Clear grip lets those sick stickers underneath show through, turning the top of the board into part of the graphic instead of covering everything up. 👀⚡

The ONSRA ZENO packs serious e-skate performance into a compact kicktail shape, with dual 75mm hub motors, speeds up to 40 km/h and a swappable 99Wh travel-oriented battery. But one detail that really matters here in Vancouver is the ZENO’s IP65 water-resistance rating. 🛹🌧️ That first “6” means protection against dust ingress, while the “5” means protection against water jets from any direction. In plain English: splashes, wet pavement and unexpected weather are much less intimidating — but IP65 does not mean waterproof or safe for submersion. Course & Trail

Now this is a reissue that refuses to be subtle! The Schmitt Stix Yard Stix comes in at a whopping 36" long and 9.625" wide, with the classic yardstick graphic running the length of the deck. Equal parts skateboard, conversation piece and giant measuring device — exactly the kind of wonderfully strange shape that makes old-school skateboarding so much fun. 😄🔥
Another killer piece from the CalStreets Reissue Dept and a great find for anyone who loves the oddball side of skate history. Sometimes regular-sized just isn’t enough! 📏🔥🛹

Today’s vintage skateboard ad takes us back to 1977 and the launch of the International Skateboard Association — an early attempt to bring manufacturers, skaters, contests and the growing skate industry under one roof. And right there in the ad, upside down and completely in control, is legendary freestyle pioneer Russ Howell. 🤸‍♂️🔥
Howell was no stranger to Canadian skate events either, making regular appearances north of the border and inspiring a whole generation of skaters here. It’s a great snapshot of a moment when skateboarding was becoming organized, international and just a little more official — even if the skaters themselves were still doing handstands on boards. 😄 🛹🔥
