Originally introduced in the 1970s and out of production since the ’80s, these 60mm 97A reissues bring back the classic shape and attitude that helped define an era. Today’s vintage skateboard ad takes us back to one of skateboarding’s wildest experimental eras, featuring legendary rider Lonnie Toft and Tracker Trucks. The ad proudly shows off Toft’s outrageous eight-wheeler, alongside some serious pool riding, capturing a time when skateboard design seemed to have no limits and riders were constantly pushing equipment in new directions.

Tracker Trucks were a major force in the progression of 1970s skateboarding, and Lonnie Toft was exactly the kind of fearless innovator who could put them to the test. Four wheels or eight, this classic ad is pure old-school skate history — bold graphics, radical equipment and the anything-goes creativity that helped shape skateboarding’s future. 🛹⚡

This freestyler from Brackendale scored a sweet prize at last weekend’s 50th Anniversary BC Skateboard Championships, winning this deck from MLM. Now he’s got it built up and ready for the next meetup! 🙌🛹

He came into CalStreets BoarderLabs to finish the setup with Gashadokuro trucks and Decomposed wheels, putting together a proper freestyle machine with plenty of personality. From winning the deck to getting it rolling — this one is ready for some serious freestyle action! 🤘🔥
