PROJECT LAFERRARI- Yes.. I got two 🙂

The Ferrari Laferrari is just that beautiful😍that it is justified. Although maisto struck it out the park with this model they still came with a lot of defects, which for the price you cant really complain.
However, since theyre easily accessible ive decided to dedicate one as a project. Im challenging myself to bring my model as close to the real cars classic spec as I can.
So for this project I wont JUST be fixing chips and misaligned parts, I’ll be going the full mile by painting the roof black, and if it suits it, painting the wheels alloy silver. Heres are both cars untouched, followed by some pictures of defects and at the end youll find my inspiration.

STARTING 2026- LOOK at this absolute gem 💎 I picked up on the 1st day of 2026 😍

A very very hard to find and near mint Maisto Ferrari F50 closed top! It still needed some minor repairs, which you can see the quick fixes I pulled off below.

Ill post the full final repairs later after its done and cleaned up. YES this one deserves a full detail, clean/wax/shine.

AND i’ll be writting an in depth view as to why I chose to pursue this model and what makes it so special out of all the most popular F50s produced in 1/18 scale, over the last 30 years.
