A recent custom order finished up in the shop!

This cutting board was made from walnut with a juice groove, a recessed corner collector and built-in handholds along the sides. Everything was made from scratch to the customer’s specifications.

One of my favourite parts of custom work is taking someone’s idea and turning it into something made specifically for them, and the grain in this walnut turned out beautifully.

We’re heading to Art on the Boulevard in Erieau this Saturday! Come stroll the boulevard, check out more than 100 Ontario artists, and stop by to see our handcrafted wood products, including some new Erieau-inspired pieces.

The show runs Saturday, August 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Village of Erieau, and admission is free. We hope to see you there!
