We’re just 2 days away from the Westport Station 4 Firefighters Association Pancake Breakfast & New Pumper Push-In Ceremony!

Enjoy an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast by donation, meet some of your local firefighters, and stick around as we officially welcome Station 4’s newest pumper.

🚒 What is a Push-In Ceremony?

The push-in ceremony is a longstanding fire service tradition dating back to the days of horse-drawn fire apparatus. After returning to the station, firefighters would have to manually push the equipment back into the firehouse.

Today, firefighters continue the tradition by gathering together and pushing a new apparatus into its bay — symbolically welcoming it into the station and marking the beginning of its service to the community.

🚒 Push-In Ceremony: 11:15 AM

All breakfast donations support the Westport Station 4 Firefighters Association.

Chasing what’s left of summer ☀️🌊

We’re not quite ready to trade sunshine, lake days and warm evenings for fall just yet… but this cooler weather really isn’t helping! 😂🍂

There’s still a little summer left, and we plan on soaking up every last bit of it.

Here’s to squeezing in a few more cottage weekends, boat rides, patio days and sunsets before sweater weather officially takes over. 💙
