It’s just a little too toasty in the shop today!

With the heat we’re experiencing, we’ve decided to close for the day to keep everyone safe and comfortable.

The good news? You can still shop your favourite local makers, unique gifts, and custom apparel from the comfort of your nice, cool home!

Local artist Barb Wilson created a commissioned piece for us (she can do one for you as well) of the Gallagher house in Portland. Barb’s talent for bringing local landmarks to life making each piece a treasured keepsake and a keeper of stories.

Elsie Gallagher created THE LITTLE MINISTER cross stitch in 1936 and we like to think she stitched part of it on that front porch!

We carry many of Barb's original paintings in the shop, and so many of them come with fascinating local stories that connect us to the history and character of our community.
