The Superfluity Thrift Store is thrilled to once again be the recipient of original oil paintings by local artist Mac Grieves.

"Mac Grieves is an artist known for his unique approach to painting, which he believes is fueled by his passion for creating images that don't exist in reality. His distinctive method involves starting with a completely black canvas and working from dark to light, contrary to the traditional light-to-dark approach. Grieves exclusively uses oils, focusing intensely on composition, geometry, and the interplay of light and shadow. His paintings are intricate and time-consuming, often taking weeks to complete, and he infuses each piece with a strong narrative and playful titles. Grieves achieved notable success with his musical series, which sold out quickly, and his originals and limited editions are highly sought after due to their meticulous detail. "

These 20 paintings will be displayed for sale over a period of weeks to encourage repeat visits by local art lovers...
