A new signed Jim Robb original is available in store!

“Wigwam Harry” portrait painted on stretched moose hide within a circular wooden frame.

Jim is one of The Yukon's best loved artists and has been depicting The Yukon since 1955. Jim has amassed a significant body of work in the decades he has lived here, as well as collecting and cataloging a large collection of historical artifacts and oral histories. Jim's "exaggerated truth" style is well known and captures the quirky character of The Yukon's buildings as well as its residents. Much of Jim's vast knowledge of the area is cataloged in his Colourful 5% publication.

Colourful 5% books are also available in store and online.

September 30th is the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation in Canada, also known as Orange Shirt Day. Orange Shirt Day was started in 2013 by residential survivor Phyllis Webstad to honour survivors and remember that "Every Child Matters."

We respectfully acknowledge that we are gathered on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. We honour their deep and enduring connection to this land, water, and community since time immemorial, and we recognize the vital contributions these governments and their citizens make to the region.

It is our sincere wish that every person and every child has the chance to live in a healthy community, express creativity and experience support and healing throughout all stages of life. We invite you to reflect upon how we can continue to improve upon living in harmony with one another in this country and globally.
