❤️ Another Meaningful Donation to Kings Senior Safety ❤️
Today, we had the privilege of making another AMAZING donation to Kings Senior Safety, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to help seniors in our community who are struggling to afford groceries and other basic necessities.
It’s easy to forget that there are seniors right here in our own communities who are facing difficult choices between putting food on the table and meeting their everyday needs. Being able to provide even a little support means so much to us.

But this donation isn’t just from us—it’s from all of you. Every purchase, every donation, every word of encouragement, and every bit of support helps make these contributions possible.

We truly believe that when a community comes together, we can make a real difference. We are incredibly thankful to have such caring and generous people standing behind us.

We are a team. We are a community. And together, we are making a difference—one helping hand at a time. ❤️

So apparently the technical issues we are having on our FRONT PORCH THRIFT MARKETPLACE page are not fixable at this time. we are told that eventually it will just fix itself. When people click on one of our products and want to message us they receive a message that states the message hasn’t been sent and that we are not available, which is not true but that makes people not able to send us a message on our items. So going forward, until this fixes itself , all of our items will be posted from each of our personal pages which would be Janice Hartenhof or Wyatt Balsor. Thanks so much for your patience and your continued support. 🩷

We have been having some technical issues with our marketplace profile where people are unable to send us messages. We are in the process of trying to fix this. If you were interested in a product, you can message us through this page as messages are going through here. So sorry for this inconvenience, we hope to have this fixed soon.

Very productive day for us today. We had a new roof put on our shed a few weeks ago and now that it’s all dried out we cleaned it and painted and stained the inside of it today. Amazing what a little paint and stain will do. Now we have an extra shed for storage and larger items.

We are incredibly grateful to have made another donation yesterday. This time, we were honored to contribute $200 to Kings Senior Safety, an organization that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors throughout our community.
Through our close relationship with the program director, we learned about several seniors and families who are facing significant hardship and are in urgent need of groceries and other essential items. It's heartbreaking to know that so many older adults are struggling to access life's basic necessities with few places to turn for help.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who supports our cause, we are able to give back to organizations like Kings Senior Safety and help provide hope and assistance to those who need it most. We are truly thankful for the opportunity to support their incredible work and remain committed to continuing our donations as they care for and advocate for seniors in our communities.

The Kings County Seniors’ Safety Society is a registered not-for-profit organization working to provide a community for seniors to enjoy a comfortable quality of life, and to promote and enhance the safety, security and well-being of seniors in Kings County.

A huge thank you to everyone that came out to our yard sale yesterday. It was a huge success, not just money wise, but also talking to people and explaining what we, FRONT PORCH THRIFT is all about, and why we’re doing what were doing . We met so many great people and loved seeing wonderful familiar faces. Thanks again everyone ❤️
