We offer saddle repairs and other horse supply repairs and we also do belts purses wallets and many other leather goods. I would like to share a little of the history on my business and the meaning behind the name of it. This leather works is 3 generations, it started with my mother Carol she learned how to do this stuff from two cousins of ours and then she taught me ( Colleen) how to do certain
things when I was just 6 years old like lacing wallets together and then I moved on to stamping things like name tags, key fobs, coin purses and wallets. Then I moved on to the carved stuff like what the clock and the barrel ricing purse. Then after I had my daughter when she turned 6-7 that is when me and mom started to teach Carrie my daughter how to do this leather works as well. So all together our 3 generations started working on leather 49 years ago this year with mom and then I have been working with it for 44 years now and now my daughter has been working with it for 19 years. We enjoy working with the leather and we love making things. The horse repairs I started into that myself about 8 years ago, a friend had ask me if I could do a small repair on one of her saddles and I had never done repairs on saddles before but I did it and it turned out good and the horse blankets I started repairing them it’s been about 4-5 years now and I really enjoy everything that I have done and all of that stuff that was taught to me over the years by my mother and I have enjoyed teaching my daughter as well.
