It was amazing to see everyone out to the opening reception! There are some fantastic and very talented artists in Yellowknife and I am forever grateful that I was allowed to show some of my pieces among them.

Final steaming and set of my gowns for the YK ARCC art exhibit Social Fabric ( with baby in tow). All the other art looks amazing! Can’t wait for the open reception tomorrow at 5:30.

Ready to go! It’s been over 5 years since I’ve displayed any dresses. This is an emotional moment for me. I was asked just over a year what I wanted my children to think of me. “What do I want them to see when they look at you?”
The answer: strong, loving and creative a woman who worked hard to achieve a dream and wasn’t afraid.
This is a small step to achieving this dream.

A little more sculpting with fabric than the last dress, but the inner corset and too are now just waiting for that full ball gown skirt.
