3 days in Antwerp, and I’m already thinking … when can we go back?
A few highlights:
✨ That train station… what a way to arrive.
✨ The MAS — yes, go straight to the rooftop. The locals were right.
✨ A gorgeous little gem called Coté Jardin.
✨ Diamond street — very bling indeed.
✨ Great food and a lovely chat with the owners at The Prep Kitchen.
✨ Frites Atelier — worth the wait!
✨ A wooden escalator carrying people, bikes and scooters through the Sint-Annatunnel.
✨ MoMu, where I discovered just how many famous designers are Belgian.
✨ And yes… apparently Antwerp has a Chinatown. We just arrived too early.
✨ Cinnamon bun + cardamom bun = my one exception to not eating breakfast.
✨ And Vietnamese food that was simply HEAVEN. Sorry, but not sorry — Asian food is comfort food for the whole family.
But my favourite surprise? Being lucky enough to experience a tea and incense ceremony at KŪKAI. Matcha Experience with
TAKU | Tea Ceremonialist, Design + Strategy. Taku-San, I hope we can tempt you to Thun next year!
And somewhere between all the sightseeing, I finally learned why Antwerp is called Antwerp… apparently it has something to do with a hand being thrown.
Swipe through our 3 days — and tell me, have you been to Antwerp? What did I miss?
