Job Description:
We seek a talented and experienced Web Designer/WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong web design and development background, expertise in WordPress, and a deep understanding of SEO principles.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing visually appealing and user-friendly websites using WordPress.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices into website design and development.
- Creating custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Conducting website performance analysis and implementing optimizations to improve site speed and user experience.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest web design trends, technologies, and SEO algorithms.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Web Designer & WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Extensive knowledge of WordPress, including theme development, plugin customization, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with SEO tools and techniques, with the ability to implement on-page optimization strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Previous experience in an SEO-focused role or certification in SEO.
