This report presents a summary of the activities
Day One of the Free Resin Art Training Program organized by Bliss Resin Arts under the sponsorship of CAYEN.

The training program officially commenced successfully with the attendance of over twelve (12) participants. The session recorded a satisfactory turnout and demonstrated significant interest from participants who showed enthusiasm toward acquiring practical knowledge and skills in resin art.
The opening session commenced with welcoming remarks and an introduction to the objectives of the training program. Emphasis was placed on skill acquisition, creativity, entrepreneurship, and empowerment, which form the core purpose of this initiative.

Day One focused primarily on foundational knowledge and practical orientation in resin art. Key areas covered during the session included:

* Introduction to resin art and its applications
* Overview of resin and hardener composition
* Safety measures and precautions in resin handling
* Introduction to essential tools and materials
* Resin measurement and mixing techniques
* Basic design principles and finishing methods

The session included both theoretical instruction and practical demonstrations to ensure effective knowledge transfer. Participants actively engaged in discussions, asked relevant questions, and participated in hands-on activities designed to strengthen their understanding of the concepts taught.

Le Chef de Bureau de CAYEN (Cameroon Youths Empowerment Network) informe par la présente le grand public, tous les participants déjà inscrits ainsi que les jeunes intéressés que le Programme Gratuit de Formation en Art de la Résine, organisé en partenariat avec Bliss Resin Arts, a été reprogrammé.

En raison du très grand intérêt suscité par cette initiative et afin de permettre à un plus grand nombre de jeunes de bénéficier de cette opportunité d'autonomisation, les dates de la formation ont été modifiées. La formation se tiendra désormais du jeudi 3 juillet au samedi 5 juillet.

📍 Lieu : Bonaberi, Douala – Salle AFDMA, en face de l'Atlantic Bank, Ancienne Route Bonaberi.

Cette formation demeure entièrement gratuite et a pour objectif de doter les jeunes de compétences pratiques en Art de la Résine, tout en promouvant l'entrepreneuriat, la créativité et l'autonomisation économique.

Tous les participants déjà inscrits sont priés de prendre bonne note de ce nouveau calendrier. Les nouveaux candidats intéressés sont vivement encouragés à saisir cette opportunité et à s'inscrire avant le début de la formation.

The Head of Office of CAYEN (Cameroon Youths Empowerment Network) here by informs the general public, all registered participants, and interested youths that the Free Resin Art Training Program, organized in partnership with Bliss Resin Arts, has been rescheduled.

Due to the overwhelming interest and in order to provide an opportunity for more young people to benefit from this empowerment initiative, the training dates have been extended and will now start from

Thursday 3rd July to Saturday the 5th

This training remains completely free of charge and is aimed at equipping young people with practical skills in Resin Art, promoting entrepreneurship, creativity, and economic empowerment.

Lancement de la Formation Gratuite en Art de la Résine par CAYEN et Bliss Resin Arts à Yaoundé

Yaoundé, Cameroun – Le Réseau d’Autonomisation des Jeunes du Cameroun (CAYEN), en partenariat avec Bliss Resin Arts, a officiellement lancé hier une session de formation gratuite en art de la résine au Collège Ebanda Biyem Assi
Yaoundé;
Cette formation intensive, qui se déroule sur une période de trois jours, réunit de nombreux jeunes désireux d’acquérir des compétences pratiques et entrepreneuriales dans l’un des secteurs créatifs les plus prometteurs du moment.

Placée sous le thème « Autonomiser les Jeunes, Bâtir un Meilleur Cameroun », cette initiative vise à offrir aux participants les connaissances techniques nécessaires pour concevoir et fabriquer divers objets en résine, notamment des porte-clés, objets décoratifs, souvenirs personnalisés, dessous de verre et autres créations artisanales à forte valeur ajoutée.

Lors de la cérémonie d’ouverture, les responsables de CAYEN ont souligné l’importance de la formation professionnelle comme levier de lutte contre le chômage des jeunes et de promotion de l’auto-emploi. Ils ont encouragé les participants à profiter pleinement de cette opportunité pour développer leur créativité et transformer leur passion en activité génératrice de revenus.

Durant les trois jours de formation, les apprenants bénéficieront d’un encadrement pratique assuré par les experts de Bliss Resin Arts. Les modules portent notamment sur la manipulation des matériaux, les techniques de moulage, le mélange des couleurs, les finitions professionnelles, ainsi que les bases de la gestion et de la commercialisation des produits artisanaux.

Au-delà de l’apprentissage technique, cette formation met également l’accent sur l’entrepreneuriat afin de permettre aux participants de développer une vision d’entreprise et d’envisager la création de leurs propres activités économiques.

La session de formation s’achèvera par une cérémonie de clôture au cours de laquelle des certificats de fin de formation seront remis aux participants ayant suivi avec succès l’ensemble du programme.

À travers cette initiative, CAYEN réaffirme son engagement en faveur de l’autonomisation des jeunes Camerounais et de la promotion des compétences pratiques susceptibles de contribuer au développement économique et social du pays.

CAYEN Launches 3-Day Free Resin Art Training Program in Yaoundé

Yaoundé, Cameroon – June 1, 2026

The Cameroon Youth Empowerment Network (CAYEN) officially launched its highly anticipated 3-Day Free Resin Art Training Program yesterday at Collège Ebanda Biyem-Assi Yaoundé bringing together young people eager to acquire practical skills and explore entrepreneurial opportunities in the growing creative industry.

Organized by CAYEN ONG and facilitated by Bliss Resin Arts, the training program is part of the organization's ongoing mission to empower young Cameroonians through vocational education, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The initiative aligns with CAYEN's vision of promoting self-reliance and economic independence among youths.

The training, which runs over three days, introduces participants to the fundamentals of resin art, including material handling, mixing techniques, safety procedures, color application, finishing methods, and product creation. Participants will have the opportunity to create decorative and functional resin products such as key holders, wall art, trays, coasters, and other customized items with commercial value.

Speaking during the opening session, organizers emphasized the importance of practical skills development in addressing youth unemployment and fostering entrepreneurship. They encouraged participants to take full advantage of the opportunity, noting that resin art has become a rapidly expanding sector with significant market potential both locally and internationally.

Throughout the program, trainees will engage in hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and guided practical sessions led by experienced instructors from Bliss Resin Arts. Beyond technical skills, participants will also receive insights into branding, marketing, customer relations, and business development to help them transform their creativity into sustainable income-generating ventures.
