Almost everybody is doing their 80s trend…
Me: 80s? My sister, please. 😭😂
I have gone back to the BCs ; Queen Esther’s time.
Because why should I be doing 1980 when my ancestors were already serving looks in the palace? 😂
Imagine Esther preparing for her big palace appearance:
“Abeg, which gown I wear?”
“Madam, wear the royal one.”
“Okay. And my beads?”
“Ready.”
“My beaded bag?”
“Madam, already packed.” 😂
Because let’s be honest, that woman was not walking into the palace with her lip gloss, handkerchief and royal emergency money in her bare hands.
And Uncle Mordecai would be standing outside like:
“Esther, don’t forget your bag oo!”
And now, thousands of years later, we are still here making beaded bags.
At this point, I’m convinced beaded bags are not a trend.
They are a family inheritance. 😂
You know those movies:
“My grandmother gave it to my mother.
My mother gave it to me.
And now I’m giving it to you…”
YES. THAT ONE.
That’s the kind of story we want your RAB Beaded bag to have.
