Future of Tibi Drums

First, thank you to everyone who has already welcomed a Tibi drum into their life and shared videos of their music with me ❤️

Over the last several months I’ve been working on new ideas and pushing the limits of what a steel tongue drum can be. Today I’m excited to share what’s coming next.

Tibi Drum (New Generation)
All future Tibi drums will feature 10 tongues instead of 9, offering a wider musical range while keeping the same simple and intuitive playing experience.
Price stays the same.

Tibi HORIZON
The world’s first combination of a Handpan and a Steel Tongue Drum.
A completely new instrument that combines the accessibility of a tongue drum with the resonance and additional voices of a handpan.
Available for custom orders now.
DM me to discuss scales and pricing.

Tibi EVE
A new 13-tone tongue drum featuring three additional bass notes on the top side.
Currently in development and testing.
Pre-orders are open from today.
DM for details.

This will become the new Tibi lineup, and I’m already building, testing, recording and refining every model. More videos and updates are coming soon.

❤️ A Special Thank You For Early Supporters

Every new instrument, experiment and innovation is made possible by people who believe in this project.

My goal is to reach 100 Tibi orders by the end of this year and continue developing new instruments that make music accessible to everyone.

To thank those who will join this journey, I’m launching the Tibi Upgrade Program.

• The first 23 customers who order any Tibi drum can upgrade to any future Tibi instrument after 1 year — completely free, including worldwide shipping.

• The next 59 customers can upgrade to any future Tibi instrument after 2 years — completely free, including worldwide shipping.

Upgrade conditions:
• One upgrade per customer

No upgrade fees.
No trade-in fees.
No shipping fees.

Just keep playing, and when you’re ready for your next Tibi, I’ll take care of the rest.

Thank you for helping me build the future of Tibi ❤️

Music was never meant to be complicated
It was meant to be shared

Today I’m introducing RIN². A small experiment designed to make music more accessible, more approachable, and a little less intimidating.

If you’d like to try it yourself, comment or DM «RIN2» and I’ll send you the files for free

Sometimes I make mistakes
Sometimes I don’t

But every time, I learn something new

For a long time, I tried to make my drums look “perfect” — flat, clean, polished like everyone else
But then I realized:

Why am I trying to hide the metal?

Because metal has memory, just like leather
And I don’t want to erase it.
It carries marks, texture, history
And covering all of that feels wrong

So I decided to do the opposite

This is the raw Silver Edition steel tongue drum
No fake perfection. No masking.

Pure silver steel with all its natural character left visible
You can see the real metal structure, the traces of tuning, polishing, heat, and handwork

Every surface tells the story of how this instrument was made

Because I want Tibi drums to feel simple.
Honest.
Alive.

10 years ago, I started making steel tongue drums

Back then, it was just an idea — to make music accessible
No difficulties, no barriers. Just pick up an instrument and start playing

Today, it feels like a different life. A lot has changed.
I’ve changed. My surroundings have changed. Even the country I now live in.

But one thing has stayed the same.
Hearing the beautiful music you share with the world,
and seeing how deeply it resonates in people’s hearts.

And if I’m honest, I was never alone on this journey(even if i said the opposite)

From the very first order to today,
each of you who watched, listened, shared, ordered,
or simply felt something — became a part of this path.

Because of you and your music, I’ve become better.
My world has become better.

And I believe I can create even more refined, more alive instruments for you,
and hear from you even more melodies, stories,
or simply warm, real moments.

Today I’m celebrating not only 10 years of making instruments,
but also my 34th birthday.

And it feels like the best way to celebrate
is simply to say thank you.

Thank you for your trust.
Thank you for your attention.
Thank you for being here.
And thank you for keeping the music alive.

thank YOU

With love,
Daniel ❤️
