Now let’s demonstrate the difference between using a traditional anchor and a Trolling Motor.
We’re timing the whole process: pulling anchor and moving to a new fishing spot.
First, the traditional anchor.
An anchor weighs dozens of kilos. You need a windlass to haul it up slowly.
And you have to repeat this every time you switch fishing grounds.
That’s the big problem with traditional anchoring.
It’s tiring, labour-heavy, and needs lots of manual work.
Our test took 1 minute 50 seconds, and that’s only in 10-meter water.
At 50 or 100 meters depth, it takes way longer and drains all your energy.
Plus, you get messy, tangled ropes all over the deck.
You waste valuable fishing time just untangling lines.
Now watch the Shark Captain Trolling Motor.
Simply press the Up button, and the electronic anchor retracts automatically.
Only 30 seconds to fully lift it, ready to move to your next fishing spot.
Captains save so much physical work out on the water.
Just tap the remote, job done.
Fishing becomes simpler, easier and more fun.
Technology truly changes offshore fishing.
