A Small and Beautiful Craft: Sunshine Window Bookmark
When sunlight filters through this bookmark onto your hand, it feels like you've captured a rainbow.

Materials Needed
1.Transparent PVC Plastic Sheet (or clear acetate cardstock)
2.Transparent Paint (clear model paint or standard oil-based markers)
3.Black Cardstock
4.Fine-Tip Marker for outlining (black or gold)

Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare the Template: Choose a pattern you like, scale it to your desired size, and print it out to use as a base draft. (Note: The pattern I used was inspired by another creator's designβ€”I just loved their illustration!)

Trace the Design: Place the transparent PVC sheet directly over your printed template. Use the fine-tip marker to trace the outlines.

Color It In: Fill the outlined pattern with your favorite colors using the transparent paint or markers.

Frame and Seal: Cut out your painted design, leaving a small margin around the edges. Next, measure and cut a matching frame out of the black cardstock. Place the frame over your design and secure it from the back using clear tape to seal the edges.

Helpful Tips
Authentic Lines: Your tracing doesn't need to be perfectly smooth. Leaving slight angles or jagged lines will make it look much more like an antique stained-glass window.

Even Coloring: It can be difficult to achieve an even coat of color on PVC sheets. For the best aesthetic result, it is highly recommended to apply a thin layer of color, let it dry completely, and then apply a second coat.
