Purple-violet lips need a different correction direction than blue-grey lips. 💜➡️🧡
PART 2 OF 4 — Purple/Violet Undertone Correction
Purple and violet undertones may look cool and dark, but using the same correction route for every difficult lip tone can create an unbalanced result.
In this visual color demonstration:
🧡 Step 1: Light Orange
Begins warming the purple-violet base and reducing the visible cool direction.
🍊 Step 2: Milk Orange
Softens the transition and supports a warmer, clearer base for the next color stage.
Blue-grey VS purple-violet:
They may look similar at first, but their depth, saturation and color direction should be assessed separately before selecting a corrector.
This is an educational color simulation—not a universal pigment formula. Final shade selection, order and ratios should be adjusted according to the client’s natural lip tone, discoloration depth, previous pigment history, lip condition, pigment system, technique and professional assessment.
