In a world that moves fast, some beauty still takes its time.

Nanjing Yunjin brocade is still woven by hand today, using traditional looms and techniques passed down through generations.
Thread by thread, pattern by pattern, the fabric slowly takes shape — preserving the richness and refinement once associated with imperial textiles.
There are no shortcuts here. Only time, skill, and patience.

Perhaps that is what makes Yunjin so precious:
in an age of speed, it reminds us of the value of making slowly.

Five ways to wear a little piece of silk.

Tie it around your wrist, weave it into your hair, or wear it softly at the neck.
Same silk, different mood.

Our new Chinese-inspired Twilly collection is here — made from 100% mulberry silk, with colors and motifs drawn from the beauty of Chinese art and culture.

From ancient art to something you can wear.
Our newest scarves are crafted from 100% mulberry silk, with each design drawing inspiration from works of ancient Chinese art.
Details from ancient paintings, decorative arts, and traditional garments are reimagined through color and pattern, bringing echoes of Chinese art into contemporary silk design.
Art once admired from afar, now carried close.

Xiangyunsha — also known as Gambiered Guangdong silk — is not simply made. It is shaped slowly, through time, nature, and countless hands.
Behind every finished piece lies a remarkably demanding process: repeated dyeing, steaming, boiling, sun-drying, and careful finishing. Each stage requires patience, experience, and an understanding of how fabric responds to sunlight, moisture, temperature, and time.
In Chinese craftsmanship, the phrase “three steamings, nine boilings, and eighteen sun-dries” speaks to just how labor-intensive this tradition can be.
But even after all of that, the story is far from finished.
The fabric must continue to settle, soften, and reveal its character. Its subtle sheen, distinctive texture, and one-of-a-kind variations are not created in a single moment — they emerge gradually through the process.
That is what makes Xiangyunsha so precious.
Not because it is perfect, but because time itself becomes part of the material.
What you see here is the finished fabric.

A dialogue between tradition and modern design.
In collaboration with the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, SinoCultural/天煦 presents an exhibition that showcases our bags alongside expressions of Chinese intangible cultural heritage.
Using pattern, setting, and composition, the exhibition reveals the essence of Chinese aesthetics — quiet, layered, and deeply connected to craftsmanship.
From woven textiles to dyed fabrics and handcrafted objects, every detail invites a closer look at how heritage can live on in contemporary design.

革带藏宋秩,丹瓣染深红。

A red with history.

Our gift box is being reimagined in 鞓红 — an ancient Chinese shade of deep red, softened with subtle orange and peach undertones.

Less vivid than vermilion and more understated than rouge, it carries a quiet warmth and timeless elegance. Its name traces back to the deep-red leather belts of ancient China and a celebrated peony recorded centuries ago.

Not simply a new color, but a piece of Chinese history wrapped around every gift.

Coming soon.

Inside the Sinocultural design showroom, heritage becomes the starting point of every bag.

Our creative director takes us through Chinese brocades, embroidery, traditional materials, and time-honored craftsmanship — sharing the stories behind them and how each element is reimagined through modern handbag design.

Ancient culture, thoughtfully translated for the way we live today.
