Year 1994. Sakura expanded its production and sales centers, Hong Kong Sakura Thread Co., Ltd. was founded. During this year, Sakura has a worldwide sales network. Sakura computer embroidery thread had been registered in more than 30 countries and more than 30 countries and became famous in international market. Year 1999. Sakura became one of the first companies that passed the quality system certification of ISO9001. During this year, Sakura computer embroidery thread had reached a domestic market share of 55 percent. It also became an international designated brand. Year 2002. Sakura expanded production in Hangzhou, built standard workshops that had 60000 square meters and improved the process of production greatly. Sakura thread had passed the certification of Oeko-tex. It became more competitive in the international markets. Later, Sakura passed this certification every year. Year 2003. Hangzhou Sakura Thread Co., Ltd. was formally set up as the headquarters. With the equipment and technology from Japan, Sakura metallic yarn was born. It changed the embarrassing situation that domestic market was always occupied by foreign products. Year 2006. Sakura was honored one of the 100 small and medium-sized enterprises in Zhejiang Province. Year 2009. Flame retarding thread was developed as fireproofing material and sold at home and abroad. Year 2010. In order to pursue higher quality, Sakura 75D and 50D superfine polyester thread were produced to meet the market demand. Year 2011. Sakura international e-commerce center was set up to produce, display and sell new products, It offered service for global customers faster and more conveniently. Year 2014. Sakura metallic yarns had passed the certification of SGS and Poh standard tests. The quality has reached international advanced standard.
