One thing new sellers underestimate: packaging is part of your product.
Most people only look at the item itself. But a large part of complaints actually come from how it arrives: slightly scratched, box crushed, parts loose, or looks "cheap" when opened.
Before you scale, check packaging like this:
1.Open it fast like a real customer
No careful unboxing. Tear it open. Does anything move, scratch, or fall apart?
2.Shake test
If you shake the box, do you hear movement? Movement = risk.
3.Pressure test
Press the package like it would be stacked in transit. Does it deform or protect?
4.First impression
If you saw this for the first time, would you feel "worth it" or "disappointed"?
5.One small upgrade
Sometimes a simple fix (thicker bag, tighter fill, small foam) changes everything.
Customers don’t separate product and packaging.
They judge both at once.
