The three-grid septic tank is a sanitary facility that uses the principles of physical sedimentation and microbial anaerobic fermentation to treat manure. Its workflow can be summarized as: first-level interception and precipitation, second-level deep fermentation, and third-level storage and reserve, that is, "one retention, two fermentation, three storage". The whole process will take at least 30 days.
The specific functions of the three grids and the processing process of f***s are as follows:
🧱 The first grid: intercept the sedimentation and fermentation pool
· Core mission: solid-liquid separation and preliminary anaerobic fermentation.
· Treatment process: After entering, the manure will be automatically stratified according to different specific gravity, forming a three-layer structure: the upper layer is a paste-like manure skin, the middle layer is a relatively clear manure liquid, and the lower layer is a block or granular manure residue. Parasite eggs and a large number of bacteria are mainly concentrated in the f***l skin and f***l residue, and remain in the first stretice through precipitation, while the middle-layer f***l fluid containing fewer worm eggs will flow into the second stres through the f***l tube. This process takes about 20 days.
⚗️ The second grid: re-fermentation tank
· Core mission: deep anaerobic fermentation, continuous sterilization and egg destruction.
· Treatment process: Since most of the solid impurities have remained in the first grid, the f***l fluid in the second grid is purer. Through microbial activities in a closed environment, germs and parasite eggs will gradually die due to environmental changes and lack of nutrition. The manure is further harmless here, and all germs and harmful substances are killed. This process takes about 10 days.
💧 The third grid: septic tank
· Core mission: to store high-quality manure liquid after clarification and harmlessness.
· Treatment process: The f***l liquid flowing into the third grid has been rotted, and the bacteria and parasite eggs have been basically killed. The main function is to temporarily store the basically harmless manure liquid. At this point, the complete treatment process of manure has been completed. At this time, it is a high-quality organic fertilizer that can be directly used for farmland irrigation.
In general, the three-grid septic tank can effectively remove germs and parasite eggs in f***s through the ingenious design of combining physical precipitation, anaerobic fermentation and middle-layer overflow, and realize the harmlessness and resourceization of f***s.
According to the national standard, in order to ensure the treatment effect, the volume ratio of the three-grid septic tank is usually designed as 2:1:3 (first grid: second grid: third grid), and the total effective volume should not be less than 1.5 cubic meters.
