A new global hub for STEM education deserves technology built for global dialogue.

TAIDEN technology is now supporting the UNESCO International Institute for STEM Education in Shanghai, China’s first UNESCO Category I institute.

The objective was clear: create a seamless environment where participants can listen, speak, interpret and collaborate, regardless of language or meeting format.

The 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17) officially opened in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Centered on the official theme “Restoring Land, Restoring Hope,” the 12-day conference runs through August 28. Bringing together 197 Parties and nearly 12,000 delegates, the event serves as a vital platform for multilateral negotiations on combating desertification and addressing land degradation.

Spanning 200,000 square meters, the venue features 12 conference halls, 2 main plenary halls, and 33 meeting rooms. TAIDEN delivered a full-scenario conferencing solution encompassing discussion, simultaneous interpretation, sound reinforcement, and automatic camera tracking, with more than 6,000 units deployed across the site.

Tailored to the scale and nature of each session, TAIDEN deployed a flexible range of fully digital conference systems to ensure clear and stable discussion. It also integrated simultaneous interpretation, professional sound reinforcement, and automatic camera tracking systems, providing robust technical support for multilingual communication and conference recording—enabling every participant to fully engage and build consensus on this global platform.

Throughout the conference, the TAIDEN team remained on site across all venues, providing round-the-clock, real-time support to ensure the seamless operation of thousands of interconnected delegate units, keeping every session running smoothly and in an orderly manner.

The countdown to UNCCD COP17 has begun!

In Ulaanbaatar, TAIDEN engineers are working behind the scenes to prepare the conference and professional sound reinforcement systems that will support one of the world’s major environmental gatherings.

Thousands of components. More than 6,000 delegate units. Conference systems, simultaneous interpretation equipment, loudspeakers, central controllers and kilometres of cabling, all carefully inspected, installed and commissioned.

But delivering a project of this scale goes far beyond equipment.
Every functional zone has its own spatial, acoustic, electrical and network constraints. Each system must operate independently while remaining fully interconnected.

That means repeated site inspections, countless technical meetings and continuous adjustments to layouts, cabling routes and system configurations.
Some team members spend hours connecting cables inside equipment rooms. Others walk more than 20,000 steps a day across the venue.

Installation. Testing. Analysis. Fine-tuning. Then testing again.

🌏 TAIDEN Supports the 10th China–South Asia Expo with Reliable Multilingual Communication

The 10th China–South Asia Expo has officially opened in Kunming, China, bringing together representatives from 68 countries, regions and international organizations for six days of international dialogue and economic cooperation.
With more than 60% of attendees coming from overseas, seamless multilingual communication is essential to the success of an event of this scale.

To support the Expo, TAIDEN deployed its Digital Infrared Simultaneous Interpretation System, providing more than 1,800 interpretation receivers, alongside a dedicated on-site technical team delivering end-to-end support throughout the event.

From system design and installation to commissioning, live technical assistance and contingency planning, every aspect of the deployment was carefully managed to ensure uninterrupted communication across multiple languages.
