☕ Why Do Some Coffee Bags Swell After Filling?
Freshly roasted coffee continues releasing CO₂ long after roasting, which is why most premium coffee bags use a one-way degassing valve. The valve helps release gas while preventing outside air from entering the package, keeping the coffee fresher for longer.
🔍 But in reality, a valve alone doesn’t guarantee perfect freshness.
