Beautifully written by our 13 year old daughter and part-time model, Elena.

I will certainly miss this store very much, I remember jumping around the store, greeting the employees and gazing at the wooden furniture. Yeah, the business is still online however, I will miss the smell of wood and the beautiful colors of paint.

Mom, I am very proud of you for running this store for a very long time. Most furniture stores in Shanghai close after two years of opening, but you, ran it for nine years! You had so much passion about it but it slowly faded away, I hope you find something you'll be even more passionate about. I never got your design genes, and I still wish I had them. As I walk around this house, I notice that everything furniture here was designed by you, no wonder this house is so beautiful. I still remember the time when I was told to model for your furniture on November 15th 2009, I say it was the worst birthday I had but now that I look back, it was one of the best. I miss the times when I was small enough to fit into furnitures....

I'm blabbing too much aren't I? Anyway I'll get straight to the point:

Mama, I am so proud of you for running this store for a very long time. Every time I see your store or logo somewhere, I will always point to it and say "hey, it's my mom's store!" I was always so proud of it....

Thanks for everyone's support. It's hard to believe but we operated Kava Kava in Shanghai for 9 successful years, and once operated 4 stores.

Retail in Shanghai is tough and we often got uprooted by landlords, including now. All total, we have existed in 6 different locations in the city.

Many of you came by this last month and told us how much you loved our store and furniture. We truly appreciate your kind words and support. You were the reason we kept going! Thank you.
