Why is Anti-block Masterbatch often added during the production of PE bubble film?
PE is prone to adhesion, especially LDPE and LLDPE. Bubble film is not a single layer; it consists of a flat film layer and a bubble layer. During production, the film is in a hot and soft state. If the layers come into contact, they are difficult to separate.
The most classic component in Anti-block Masterbatch is SiO₂ (silica). These fine particles protrude slightly from the film surface, effectively preventing adhesion between PE film layers.
