How to Operate an Inflatable Castle in a Park
Operating an inflatable castle in a park requires a mix of safety management, daily operations, and customer service to ensure smooth running and repeat business.
1. Prior Preparation & Safety Checks
Site Selection: Choose a flat, open area in the park away from trees, power lines, and slopes. Ensure the ground is free of sharp objects like stones or glass.
Equipment Inspection: Check the inflatable castle for air leaks, tears, or loose parts every day before opening. Test the air blower to confirm it works normally.
Safety Certifications: Obtain necessary local permits (e.g., park operation approval, safety certificates for inflatable equipment) to comply with regional regulations.
2. Daily Operation Management
Staffing: Arrange at least 1-2 trained staff on-site. They should guide kids to enter/exit safely, monitor play behavior, and handle emergencies.
Capacity Control: Follow the equipment’s maximum capacity (usually marked by the manufacturer). Avoid overcrowding to prevent falls or collisions.
Weather Monitoring: Stop operation immediately in bad weather, such as strong winds (over 20 mph), heavy rain, or thunderstorms. Deflate the castle promptly to avoid damage.
3. Customer Service & Risk Prevention
Clear Rules: Post visible signs listing safety rules, such as "No shoes or sharp toys on the castle" and "Adults must not enter unless accompanying young children".
Emergency Response: Prepare a first-aid kit and a clear emergency plan. If a child gets injured, provide immediate basic care and contact their guardian.
Cleaning & Maintenance: Clean the inflatable surface with a mild disinfectant every day after closing. Repair small tears promptly and conduct a comprehensive maintenance check monthly.
