Here's the best Rollingstar hub we've ever made: the Rollingstar II. No matter in terms of appearance design, internal structure and raw material selection, we strive for excellence. We are proud to release this newly designed bicycle hub.

In terms of appearance, we designed five different appearances, and finally determined the current one. It is not only beautiful, but also has high strength. In aspects of materials, we chose the best high-hardness aluminum alloy material on the market, AL7075-T6, which is well known.

Regarding the core component inside the hub, the ratchet, we tried no less than 20 different materials for testing within a year, and finally decided on the current material. The precision, hardness and weight of the new alloy material are optimized, and after 100,000 rotation tests, it has been found to be durable.

The outer gear ring that engages with the ratchet is also a very important part inside the hub. It passed a torque test with a strength of 1400N, which is an extremely high strength.

Another very important widget that we haven't overlooked is the spring. The force, size and material selection of the spring are also very important. We tried many different materials and different sizes for testing to find the best solution to get the best performance of the hubs.

There are other details that we take very seriously, thus completing such a work of selecting the best from the best. Presenting our best works to our users is the ultimate pursuit of ours.

128mm! This should be the widest carbon bicycle rim around the world —— Drunken Rhinoceros.

We thought the Xiphias 105mm rim had been compatible enough for the biggest tires currently on the market. But according to the needs of one of our loyal customer fans, who is a fat-bike enthusiast, the Xiphias 105mm is still not wide enough, especially for the ground with very thick snow. Wider rims are much more beneficial. So we decided to design and to develop the world's widest carbon bicycle rim - the Drunken Rhinoceros 128mm. Even though it's an extremely niche product, it's our duty to push the boundaries of carbon fiber cycling if one product could meet the needs of our wide range of customers from all the world.

During the development process of a wider fat bike rim, it is not simply a matter of accumulating data and making it wider. There are more technical factors to be overcome. Because the rim is too wide, far exceeding the traditional size, we have to customize a bunch of special production equipments and tools. After nearly three months of design, development, production and tests, we have completed such a carbon fat bike rim. We named it Drunken Rhinoceros, which is a brother size of the Wild Dragon.

In 2013, ten years ago, we innovatively designed the Wild Dragon 90mm rim for the first time and continued to upgrade it in the past years. Now we have made another breakthrough by developing Drunken Rhinoceros 128mm rim, which used the classic design structure of the Wild Dragon, ensuring extremely high strength, making it more suitable for wider tires. This is another proud product that we make. Hopefully this Drunken Rhinoceros rim would bring different and much better experience to our customers in the fat bike cycling.

More than a year ago, NEXTIE developed and produced the world's largest carbon fiber bicycle rim —— Unicorn 36". in response to the needs of some cycling enthusiasts who pursue the extreme size wheels. For us, developing a 36-inch carbon fiber bicycle rim is a new and bold attempt.
Since then, our loyal fans have been asking us if we could develop a smaller size carbon rim, namely 32 inches. NEXTIE has always been willing to develop new products that our fans like and want. The development of 32-inch wheel is naturally our duty.
Today we want to introduce the first 32-inch carbon fiber bicycle rim developed by us NEXTIE, which is also the world's first 32-inch carbon fiber bicycle rim —— Unicorn 32". It is developed according to the international standard ISO, the BSD is 686mm. The inner width is 30mm, which can be well suitable for the current mainstream 2.25-inch tires. Some people may ask, compared with the current mainstream wheel sizes 26", 27.5" and 29", what is the significance of the existence of these larger-sized wheels? What are the advantages and potential of them?

Around three years ago, PinkBike once interviewed Trek's Travis Brown, the topic was to study the advantages and disadvantages of 32-inch and 36-inch wheels, and the meaning of existence. Back then there were no carbon fiber 32" and 36" bike rims. Travis customized a large-sized bicycle for testing, using aluminum alloy wheels, researched and tested the different experiences and feelings that large-sized wheels bring to riding.
After the riding test, Travis elaborated on the different riding experience brought by the larger size. He said that compared with the mainstream 29-inch bicycles, larger-sized wheels can bring higher speed, but because the inertia is relatively large, harder to accelerate. Inertia also has a positive side, t's easier to carry speed through rough terrain than with a smaller wheel because of the characteristic of the contact patch being longer, you're engaging more k***s. So, both climbing and braking traction are better and cornering traction is better.

Lighter, stronger and more efficient has always been the quest of professional cyclists. As a brand that mainly develops and produces carbon fiber bicycle wheels, it has always been our duty to continuously improve the overall performance of bicycle wheels. The performance of the spokes also plays a key role in the overall performance of the bicycle wheel. Hereby we introduce carbon fiber spokes.
Carbon fiber spokes are not new. In the early days, they only appeared in the Tour de France due to their difficult production technology and expensive price restrictions. Now after years of R&D and development, the production technology of carbon fiber spokes has made great breakthroughs, and carbon fiber spokes will be gradually popularized.
Carbon fiber spokes offer three main advantages:
1. Ultralight.
Our two carbon spokes, the Oval weighs just 2.35g (281mm) and the Aero weighs just 2.7g (281mm). Compared with the current popular alloy spokes, such as Sapim CX-Ray 4.25g (260mm) and DT Competition 5.97g (264mm) (data from the Internet). Obviously, the weight of the carbon fiber spokes is remarkable.
2. High Intensity.
The tensile strength of Oval and Aero spokes can reach 3614N (369KG) and 4311N (440KG) respectively, compared to other alloy spokes, such as Sapim CX-Ray 3168N (323KG) (data from the Internet), our carbon fiber spokes are stronger.
3. Excellent Rigidity.
Carbon fiber spokes are great because they are stiff. In general competition, stronger explosive power directly affects the reaction force when riding. The high rigidity of carbon fiber spokes can provide powerful explosive force, so that the power of hub rotation can be quickly reflected on the rim, so as to achieve more efficient acceleration and save start-up and reaction time. This is a huge advantage in competition.
