A little flashback to a summer evening we haven't stopped thinking about. 🌟

Autumn is here and the auction season is in full swing, but we're still holding on to the memory of our summer fest for just a little longer.

Some of the best moments at Schloss Ahlden happen when we step away from our daily routines and simply enjoy each other's company. Good food, drinks, laughter and conversation – and most of all, a chance to celebrate the people behind Schloss Ahlden.

Every auction, every collection and every day is made possible by the dedication, expertise and teamwork of our colleagues. We're grateful for the passion, energy and commitment they bring every day. 🙏

A closer look at Schloss Ahlden reveals a beautiful detail: the coat of arms of the Welf dynasty. 🏰✨

It's presence reflects Ahlden’s connection to the Celler line of the House of Welf, who ruled the region for centuries. The castle later became famous as the place of exile of Sophie Dorothea of Brunswick-Lüneburg, daughter of Duke George William of Celle.

A small carving that carries a remarkable piece of Welfen history.

Lot 805: an autograph letter by Immanuel Kant (1724–1804), offering a rare glimpse into the handwriting of one of the most influential philosophers of his time.

The letter achieved a remarkable €75,000 at auction.
