Good morning 🥰 A little shop update 🤎
I feel like this little shop has changed and evolved right along with me over the years, and I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately about what I want the next version of it to look like.
If you’ve been following along recently, you’ve probably noticed that I’ve been sharing a LOT more vintage. Thrifting, antiques, decorating my home and finding old pieces to give a new life has always been something I genuinely love, and lately I’ve realized just how much I want that to be a bigger part of what I’m doing here.
So going forward, I’m going to be making more room for vintage and cutting back some on traditional boutique inventory.
But I am NOT stopping the boutique side completely ‼️ I’ll still carry the little things you love — candles, perfumes, car diffusers, gifts, accessories and other fun finds. I’ll also still do the occasional clothing preorder or bring in a really good piece when I find something I love.
And permanent jewelry isn’t going anywhere! Sweetly Linked will still be a huge part of the shop, with appointments, events, parties and pop-ups continuing just like they always have. 🤎
The reality is… retail is HARD. Owning a boutique in a small town is HARD. And I think part of owning a small business is being willing to change when you realize something else feels like a better fit.
Vintage feels like that for me.
You’ll be seeing more one-of-a-kind finds and a shop that feels a little more like the things I’ve always loved — while still keeping some of the boutique favorites mixed in.
And THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me through all of my ideas, changes and approximately 47 different directions 😂 I’m figuring it out as I go, and I’m really excited about where it’s heading.
