Handwoven from 100% Ethiopian cotton, light enough for everyday, bold enough in color to be the whole look. Colorful stripes that never repeat, because a person wove it, not a machine. That’s what makes every piece one of a kind.

Named after Jijiga, a city in Ethiopia’s Somali region known for its colorful traditional dress and cultural diversity, an inspiration you can see in every stripe.

Meet the Hosena Hammam Towel
Handwoven Ethiopian cotton, made using techniques passed down through generations of local artisans.

It’s an easy pick for the sauna once it gets cold, but it doesn’t stop there: drape it at home for a bit of texture in the room, or throw it in your bag for a summer or autumn getaway. Same towel, different season.
Each one is handwoven, so no two are exactly alike.

Nice to know: we name our products after Ethiopian regions, rivers, and cities. Hosena takes its name from Hosaena, a city in Ethiopia’s central highlands, situated more than 2,000 metres above sea level.
