The EU was originally founded, among other things, to facilitate trade among its member states. In practice, however, we are currently witnessing the exact opposite, and the neoliberal bureaucratic behemoth run by out-of-touch Brussels technocrats is proving once again that it has long lost all sense of reality and is completely out of touch with the real world.
On August 12, 2026, the new EU Packaging Regulation—PPWR, adopted under the so-called „Green Deal“ will take effect.
For us, this means that anyone shipping to an EU country where they do not have a branch office must appoint their own authorized representative there, register with a national registry, report quantities, and pay fees.
Per country.
Individually.
Even if only three packages are sent there per year.
For a small business like ours, this is neither administratively nor financially feasible, which is why shipping to the European Union is suspended until further notice.
