A watch strap is not an accessory. It is a piece of craftsmanship created in up to 70 individual steps.

Did you know that stitching a handcrafted watch strap can take up to 40 minutes
It is done with two needles and a single thread. The result is what is called a saddle stitch. It will hold even if one part is damaged because the thread does not simply unravel.

A cut strap goes through as many as 70 work steps. Cutting, gluing, filling, lacquering. Each step influences how durable and precise the result will be.

Semi remborded straps are an example of how industry and craftsmanship merge. The top leather is pulled to the edge of the lining leather and glued. The result is a clean look that can be produced in larger quantities yet still appears refined.

Once you understand this, you will no longer see a watch strap as just an accessory. You will see it as a piece of craftsmanship that requires experience, patience, and deep knowledge of the material.
