Thanks to the lightweight construction using wood and aluminum, I’m able to keep the weight of my ORION and SIRIUS models down to 2.4 kg. When I use heavy woods like olive or oak, the maximum weight I can achieve is 3.4 kg.

The hybrid design promotes a very fast attack, long sustain and optimal string separation. It also allows for the movement of the pickups.

For the ORION Red Sinner, I allowed myself the sin of painting it in Candy Apple Red at the request of some customers. However, to compensate for the environmental impact of the finish, the purchase price includes a €150 donation to the WWF Amazon project.

To express the sin in the sound, smokin‘ hot Häussel HOT humbuckers were used. There’s plenty of steam behind it and the string action can be adjusted to a minimum on request.

The oiled maple neck has an inlaid walnut fretboard as a special highlight. The grain of the fretboard continues seamlessly into the truss rod cover. A very elaborate option.

With its chrome-plated aluminum parts the ORION Red Sinner is real guitarporn.

The ORION Red Sinner Custom has found a big friend with its new owner: The Ottifant guitar.

For all non-German followers: Ottifant was created by the German comedian Otto Waalkes. Otto is known, among other things, for his humorous German interpretations of rock classics and is simply a cult figure in Germany.

Jens Ritter built the guitar for Otto. Together, they decided to build a second Ottifant and auction it off for a good cause. That’s how the Ottifant ended up with my client, where it keeps the ORION in excellent company.

Another ORION Fine Dessert has just been completed and is now available for sale.

Vanilla ice cream, warm pears and walnuts – these are the ingredients for a fine dessert. By analogy, the ORION Fine Dessert uses the finest walnut and pear wood. Just the right choice for a guitar collector with good taste.

Häussel 1959 humbuckers also emphasize this warm character in the sound.

The oiled pear neck has an inlaid walnut fretboard as a special highlight. The grain of the fretboard continues seamlessly into the truss rod cover. A very elaborate and luxurious option. The value of the guitar is further enhanced by abalone inlays, which are thinly edged with pear wood and a wonderfully flamed body.

On 26.6. the “Guitar Night” took place at the Kulturbühne Hinterhalt in Geretsried. Guitarists Michi Vochezer, Wolfgang Zenk, and Kurt Härtl were accompanied by the rhythm section of the band Club Society as they performed numerous classics with great skill.

Michi Vochezer played the ORION Rustic Mold and enthusiastically took advantage of its moveable pickups.
